Team Member Customer Service

(37.5 hours, 5 days, location De Kwakel)

The Customer Department is part of the Supply Chain department. Customer Service is responsible for handling and processing sales orders, communicating with the customers and coordinating the order flow between the Sales and Seed Supply department.

The Customer Service team member contributes to achieving the sales target by validating and entering sales orders into the system, assigning inventory, coordinating transport documents, and maintaining communication with customers.


What you will do

In the role of Customer Service team member, you are responsible for the administrative processes related to customer quotations and orders. Your accuracy is reflected in validating orders, monitoring progress, any identifying any deviations is no problem for you; you are proactive, preventing order stagnation and offer appropriate solutions. You work in close cooperation with other parts of the organization, both national and internationally, you align with your colleagues from Seed Supply about the availability of seeds, always ensuring the quality of the product supplied. Smooth and effective communication with other departments and providing both colleagues and customers with relevant information is your second nature. If things do go unexpectedly wrong, you adequately deal with these with the appropriate complaints handling procedure. With a proactive approach you contribute to an efficient way of working service customers in a best possible manner.

What we expect from you

For this challenging position, we are looking for a candidate who holds an HBO degree or an MBO degree, complemented with relevant working experience in a commercial role. Having some knowledge of seeds is considered a plus. You are familiar with accurately processing administrative data in a computer system and you know well how to work with the Microsoft Office applications.

You are a versatile professional with a keen ability to anticipate customer needs and deliver results. You are aware of your role in a team, you are proactive and participate in developing the department as well as yourself.

For the customer group you will be working with it is essential that you speak English and Polish fluently, while knowledge of German and Dutch is considered as an advantage.

Introductory meeting
If we see a match, we’ll be happy to send you an invitation for an introductory meeting. This can take place via Teams or on location. During this conversation you’ll meet your future manager and the HR manager. You will be asked exploratory questions and there is room for your questions also.
On-site job interview
You will be invited to the Takii Europe head office for the second meeting. You get a first impression of our organization and you can meet future colleagues. In this meeting the activities of the position and collaboration with other colleagues/departments are discussed in further detail. Some of these colleagues are also present during the conversation.
